Network Security Architect

Full Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and hardworking Network Security Architect who would love to join our growing security organization? You will work with globally diverse multi-functional teams to deliver innovative network security solutions. Play a valuable role in delivering security from the ground-up for our companies worldwide! Report to the Director, Cyber Security Architecture, and focus on continuously evaluating network security posture, identifying areas of improvement and working with infrastructure teams to evolve network security at all layers across the organization.

Serve as a source of network security expertise to help teams with sophisticated problem solving

Collaborate with global infrastructure teams to develop first class network security controls

Deliver network security as a service to operating companies worldwide

Develop network security best practices and standards

Enhance security threat detection and response through network security technologies

Continuously evolve the overall security posture by identifying and actioning areas of improvement

Work in collaboration with third party vendors and partners to ensure quality

Qualifications

Relevant work experience or equivalent training in Cyber Security threat vectors.

Solid experience or trining with security engineering

Solid understanding of defensible network architecture and zero-trust

Solid understanding of network-based security controls:

Proficiency with threat detection and response in the network domain

Track record of results as an individual contributor and through a matrixed team

Ability to communicate effectively to globally diverse teams using written communications, in-person, as well as over voice and video mediums

Preferred Qualifications

Solid understanding of a wide variety of network device vendors and configurations

Solid understanding of cloud-based networking and security strategies

Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and changing business requirements

Highly collaborative, successful in a matrixed and geographically diverse environment

Detail and results oriented

Able to dive hands-on in implementations, while also keeping a big-picture view of the network security program
