Full Job Description
General Function:
The Security Reviewer is responsible for providing onsite consultation services for the logical/physical security review of Client 3rd Party Vendors, for the purpose of determining if Client data is being handled in accordance with Client policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Travel to Vendor locations worldwide to conduct the reviews (75% of time)
- Support on-site testing of predefined compliance controls that have been approved by the customers to ensure that adequate controls exist to protect client and customer assets and data.
- Utilize industry standard compliance testing methodology and the use of scripts and controls checklist for controls validations.
- Perform detailed analysis of data gathered during the testing period to demonstrate effective controls are present within each site tested. Conduct the review with the Vendor, collect evidence, witness security controls, log all responses to the questionnaires.
- Produce a final report with analysis of the Client Vendors adherence to Client security policy and/or best practices.
Requirements
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:- Strong IT security skills or training
- Ability to travel 75% of time
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Trained in Logical security skills related to data protections
- Trained in Cyber security vulnerabilities and how to prevent data or security breaches.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Attention to Detail
- Moderate to difficult computer skills, experience using Excel and Word is required.
- Ability to use email, communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Ability to follow detailed processes/instructions is required.
