Security Solution Advisor – Security & Compliance

Role: A Security Solution Advisor supports the pre-sales process for our technical field team.

You will work with account teams on the solution and technical aspects of selling security solutions to Federal clients. You will be the “eyes & ears” for the field serving as the subject matter expert for our security products, supporting customers and prospects in the region.

Location: Greater Washington, DC area or any other US metropolitan city

Travel: Up to 75% travel

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and proactively maintaining valuable relationships with clients and partners.
  • Work closely with direct account teams to understand sales strategies and plan for support of that strategy including briefings, demos, proposals, Proof of Values (POVs), integrations and issue resolution for security portfolio.
  • Communicate directly with customers to understand security architecture, infrastructure, and cyber security objectives in order to map a customer’s security priorities to product capabilities.
  • Ability to demonstrate security products and services to customers on site, remotely via webinar sessions, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
  • Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Hands-on leadership to resolution of technical/integration problems.
  • Self-motivated with a consistent track record in technical software sales and knowledge of security technology.
  • Solid ability to collaborate and dynamic presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly to emails and RFPs when submitting reports.
  • Ability to be organized and analytical, and will be able to eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches.
  • Comfortable working for a dynamic technical organization with a fast growing customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business through your Premier & Strategic partners
  • Create market awareness by leveraging your existing relationships that will help drive cloud and digital transformation sales to medium and large enterprise accounts through your Premier & Strategic partners
  • Develop go to market sales plans with your Premier & Strategic partners based on opportunity and alignment with the Corporation value proposition and the partner’s market position
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly goals for Monthly Recurring Revenue sales and KPIs for qualified leads, partner events and lead development meetings with your partners’ field sellers
  • Work with Partners’ leadership and product/solution teams to position our corporation as their go-to provider for Enterprise Cloud Computing opportunities.
  • Implement creative methods to maintain partner engagement – qualified leads per month, unique quarterly joint events, prospect meetings, sales incentives and SPIFFS
  • Collaborate with direct sales executives to drive territory business through partners across the company
  • Manage the portfolio of Premier & Strategic partnerships and referral networks to maximize lead generation and revenue in territory
  • Work with internal teams: marketing and sales to execute your business plan

Requirements

  • Energy, drive and the passion to develop strong, trusted relationships with your Premier Strategic partners, build pipeline and achieve Monthly Recurring Revenue sales results
  • No less than 5 years of selling IaaS, complex cloud and digital transformation solutions through channel partners
  • Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Proven success in developing new business and generating leads
  • Superior written/verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners
  • Demonstrated ability in relationship building, problem solving and negotiation
  • Excellent presentation skills before both small and large groups
  • A demonstrable interest in and awareness of industry trends and best sales practices
  • Strong self-directed organizational skills to organize time effectively on daily and weekly basis
